Slough Borough Council Youth Services strategic objective is to deliver a high quality learning (education) focussed Youth and Community Services in Slough, which provides safe access for young people to a varied range of provision and curriculum activities based on informal learning and offering personal and social development.

Outcomes

• The directory will provide information about services offered to support children and families pre-birth to nineteen years.
• The Directory may also include information about services provided to young adults, or services that may be used by parents.
• The directory will contain information about organisations in Slough and surrounding areas that provide services for children, young people or families.
• The directory may also include information about organisations in adjoining areas or regional or national organisations that provide services that may be used by those living in Slough or surrounding areas.

• Statutory and public-funded organisations that provide services aimed at children, young people and families, or services that may be used by children, young people and families.
• Not for profit organisations that provide services aimed at children and families, or services that promote or support the five outcomes.
• Commercial organisations that actively promote at least one of the five outcomes, and whose purposes and activities are consistent with all five outcomes.

• Practitioners who work with children, young people or parents/carers living in Slough and surrounding areas or choosing to access services in Slough or surrounding areas.
