Slough Borough Council Youth Service

Slough Borough Council Youth Service aims to deliver high quality services across Slough to young people aged 13-19 and up to 24 years for people with special needs. We are committed to providing young people with safe and accessible places to go, things to do and somebody to talk to. The Youth Service forms part of the education and children?s services and is comprised of a team of senior youth work managers, full and part time youth workers and admin staff.

We provide youth services in a number of different settings such as in youth centres, schools, residential centres, and within your community. We use a range of approaches such as one to one; group work, personal support and street based youth work. Wherever possible we seek to empower & enable young people to develop their voice, influence their place in society and to reach their full potential. We want to be responsive to young people's changing needs, interests and aspirations. We recognise that young people have skills, knowledge and experience that they can use for the benefit of themselves and others. Therefore, through our work and the functions on this site we are making every effort to ensure young people to get involved and make valuable contributions to our Council and to their communities.
